With the Overwatch 2 beta just a few days old, gamers will likely see some more interesting discoveries made in the coming days. While most will not be able to get the timing right, at least not without a lot of practice, those that have mastered the Cyborg Ninja will still be a threat to Bastion. Still, the fact that it is possible is exciting, and many Genji players looking to make some highlight reels will have a new opportunity to do so in the sequel. Obviously, this will be extremely difficult to pull off in actual Overwatch 2 matches, as the timing to hit a deflect - let alone hit the Bastion with the deflected Ultimate - needs to be perfect. Since they were looking at Bastion when they did it, they managed to kill the Omnic with their own Artillery Strike. After several failed attempts, they manage to hit deflect at the exact time the Ultimate comes toward them. Despite this, TrainOW found that it was possible. While Genji deflecting the things that come right at him makes sense, it would be far more difficult to block something falling from above. However, one would not expect Bastion’s new Ultimate to be deflectable simply because it comes down from above.
